The KEIGIO® HEXA series extends the logic of the 54x54 System into three-dimensional space, turning flat layouts into tiered, habitable structures.
Based on a hexagonal footprint, HEXA modules create small indoor “landscapes”: steps, platforms, mini-tribunes and islands that naturally invite people to sit, observe, meet or work together in a more informal way.
Designed for schools, libraries, mediateques, offices and collaborative spaces, HEXA integrates the same construction principles as the 54x54 System — precision CNC-cut panels, dry assembly, modular logic — while introducing a new dimension: height as a design tool to organise flows, views and interactions.

HEXA SIX
HEXA-SIX is one of the key elements of the HEXA series, a fully modular family designed to create small architectural landscapes within
interior spaces.
The HEXA-SIX is specifically developed for children from 6 years old and up, as well as young students, providing a safe and stimulating environment suited for more dynamic play, exploration and rest. Each hexagonal module functions as an independent structural unit that can be used individually or combined to build seating terraces, compact amphitheatres, climbing routes or intimate retreat spaces.
The system includes components with a dual purpose: they serve both as external climbing steps to access higher levels and as protective anti-fall barriers, ensuring that users can rest and play inside the module in complete safety. Engineered in marine-grade plywood, CNC-cut with precision and assembled without visible hardware, HEXA-SIX offers a warm, durable and safe solution for educational and professional environments.
The FUNCTIONALITY
HEXA-SIX transforms flat spaces into
functional, three-dimensional environments.
Its stepped geometry creates natural seating, walkable surfaces and multi-height observation points that enrich circulation and
encourage informal learning, reading, play and relaxation.
When multiple modules are combined, the
system can form:
• tiered seating and viewing platforms,
• furniture for restrooms, for a modular nap
• compact amphitheatre setups,
• small climbing landscapes for children,
• dynamic zones for group activities, storytelling or lessons.
While the exterior serves as a collective
space — walkable, climbable, shareable —
the interior remains a safe, comfortable
niche for one or two users. This dual-function
design makes HEXA-SIX a highly effective
tool for environments that require both social
interaction and individual retreat.
Recommended for children aged 6+, under
adult supervision.
• The external steps are manufactured with a reinforced thickness of 30 mm to ensure comfort for children’s feet when climbing and to strengthen the module’s structure.
• Installation of external steps on both sides of each module. This reinforces the Hexagon structure, enabling it to withstand any type of load.
• Adjustment of the shape of the external steps so that the geometry provides additional structural reinforcement to the Hexagon and functions more effectively as a railing
DIMENSIONS AND MATERIALITY
HEXA-SIX modules are available in two sizes:

Both sizes maintain identical geometry, ensuring full compatibility when building larger multi-level compositions. The hexagonal form allows the modules to align seamlessly, whether placed side by side or stacked, while maintaining stability and a coherent aesthetic.
Interior surfaces or top panels can be finished with acoustic PET to create quieter, more comfortable niches, enhancing the sense of shelter inside the module.
Upholstered cushions (up to three per module) can be added for extra comfort, using Fidivi Laser N or project-specific fabrics.

FUNCTIONAL INSIDE AND OUT
HEXA modules are designed for 360-degree interaction. Beyond the internal niche, the
structure’s exterior surfaces are fully usable.
By combining multiple rows,
you can create
central seating “islands” where the outer
slopes serve as comfortable backrests or
additional seating areas.
This configuration is ideal for activating large
communal spaces such as lobbies, libraries,
play areas, and chill-out zones.
INTEGRATED DESK
Every module in the Hexa Six series comes equipped as standard with a versatile 40x61 cm desktop board.
Designed for maximum space efficiency, the desktop slides smoothly into lateral guides positioned at the optimal ergonomic height, allowing for comfortable use while seated inside the niche.
When not in use, the desktop features a smart “stow-away” solution: it slides into dedicated tracks located directly beneath the module’s upper ceiling. These storage guides are engineered with a slight safety inclination to ensure the board remains securely in place, preventing accidental slipping while keeping the interior space clutter-free.

With HEXA-SIX, a single system can generate both social energy and personal tranquillity — a versatile, future-ready tool for schools, libraries, cultural spaces, offices and any environment that benefits from dynamic, multi-height layouts.
In a school environment, the supervisor must assess the children’s abilities and determine whether they are capable of climbing the elements independently. Otherwise, they must provide assistance or prohibit use.
DESIGN AND MATERIALITY
HEXA-SIX follows the same design principles that define the entire KEIGIO® ecosystem:
clean geometry, rounded edges, visible layered material, and structural clarity.
The hexagonal form allows the modules to align seamlessly, whether placed side-by-side or stacked, always maintaining stability and a coherent aesthetic.

HEXA TWO
HEXA-TWO is the Small (Size S) version of the HEXA series, designed with reduced dimensions 98 × 71 cm to ensure safe, intuitive use by children starting from 2 years old.
HEXA-TWO is one of the most adaptable elements of the HEXA family — a modular system conceived to build dynamic, sculptural interior landscapes.
In this model, safety was the primary design driver: each module allows children to move inside the structure, transitioning between levels without climbing from the outside and without any ladders. Every unit features two openings — a lower-right and an upper-left — together with integrated footholds that help children ascend the inclined surface and follow a natural diagonal movement path from the lower modules up toward the higher ones.
Compact, robust and protective, HEXA-TWO enriches circulation and encourages children to sit, climb, play, rest or observe the room from a subtly elevated perspective.
The FUNCTIONALITY
HEXA-TWO offers a high functional density in a very compact volume. Its two steps make it ideal for:
• seating at different heights
• furniture for rest rooms, for a modular nap
• low platforms for reading, conversation or play
• small stages for storytelling or classroom activities
• transition zones connecting higher HEXA modules
• safe, intuitive climbing surfaces for younger children
The lower and upper levels allow multiple users to occupy the module at the same time without interfering with one another, making HEXATWO perfect for restrooms, libraries, mediateques, lobbies, waiting areas and coworking spaces. Its low height makes it accessible, safe and inclusive, even for smaller children.
• Vertical structural elements are added to both sides of each module. This reinforces the hexagon’s structure, enabling it to withstand any type of load.
• The railing design has been adapted so that its geometry contributes to the structural reinforcement of the hexagon while enhancing its protective function.
• The HEXA-TWO version allows for dimensional variations, provided a minimum depth of 60 cm is maintained. This depth is necessary to ensure sufficient space for the internal ladder and the
padded backrest.
DIMENSIONS AND MATERIALITY
HEXA-TWO follows the same design language that characterises the entire KEIGIO® ecosystem: clean geometry, rounded edges, visible layered plywood and CNC precision.
The result is a piece that feels architectural yet soft, robust yet playful — a compact object that fits naturally into educational and cultural. Interior faces or top surfaces can be finished with acoustic PET panels, adding tactile comfort and reducing noise in active spaces. Optional seat cushions can be added on one or both levels, upholstered in Fidivi fabrics or in project-supplied textiles.
CONFIGURATION AND CUSTOMIZATION
HEXA-TWO can be used as a stand-alone piece or become part of larger, multifunctional
compositions:
