KEIGIO® BIN – Special Modules of the 54x54 System
The KEIGIO® BIN modules are part of the 54x54 modular system, recognizable by its distinctive parallelepiped shape and the refined details that highlight the materiality of marine-grade phenolic pine plywood.
The milled edges enhance the layered construction of the material, revealing the natural contrast between light and dark wood veneers.
Like all modules in the 54x54 family, the BIN units can be connected to one another or combined with other system elements using the H-shaped “Joint”, a third component that enables quick assembly and disassembly.
Integrated side handles allow the modules to be easily lifted and detached from each other.
Functionality
The BIN modules are designed for waste sorting and recycling and are characterized by their large internal volume, suitable for accommodating plastic bags of up to 100 liters.
Inside, retaining clips securely hold the bag in place for clean and easy use.
The bottom of each module features a double laminated waterproof panel, ensuring protection against any potential liquid leakage.

Types
The BIN modules come in two main variants:

BIN Top – with top opening, equipped with a hinged lid using professional hinges, allowing direct access for replacing the waste bag.

BIN Side – with side opening, ideal for frontal access in confined spaces.
In both versions, a 45° colored beveled edge and a colored identification disc placed near the opening indicate the waste type:

Yellow → Plastic

Blue → Paper

Brown → Organic waste

Configuration and customization
Each module has a standard 54×54 cm base, while the height varies depending on the selected model, allowing for different waste capacities and spatial configurations.
Modules can be easily moved using the KEIGIO® DOLLY (a platform with four wheels) or by means of the integrated handles.
Customization options are available for colors, graphics, and labeling, allowing the BIN modules to match the visual identity of any project or environment.
